BernardMizeki

Bernard Mizeki escaped Portuguese Mozambique and went to South Africa, where he was converted by Anglican missionaries. He then volunteered to teach Christ at a pioneer mission in today’s Zimbabwe, where he was singled out by a native uprising, stabbed and his body never found. He is the principal martyr of Anglicans in Central and South Africa. (Br. Robert Lentz, OFM)
