Newport Cathedral of St. Woolos in the Diocese of Monmouth, Wales. The building is mostly Norman but contains a Saxon chapel. This was Rowan Williams’ seat, first as Bishop, then as Archbishop of Wales, though it’s only been a cathedral since 1949. Woolos was a soldier-prince who retired to the religious life and built a cell here; he died in 500. (The Church in Wales)
