From 2014: The Coalition for the Homeless in New York sends out food trucks as mobile soup kitchens every night, but increasingly is running out of food before its rounds are done. They gather at the staging area at St. Bartholomew’s, Park Avenue, then head out on designated routes around the city. At the first stop on Lafayette Street in Lower Manhattan, the driver gave out 130 meals in 15 minutes. He never made it to his last stop in the Bronx, because he ran out of food. (Chang W.
