The parish church (left) and ruins at Bolton Priory in North Yorkshire, an Augustinian monastery built in 1154. It survived the Dissolution of the Monasteries and remains a religious community today, part of a massive estate owned by the Duke of Devonshire and administered by a trust. (Dr. John Wells)
