Millo.SteppedStoneStructure.YoavDothan

The Millo is thought to be a stepped stone structure in the old City of David in Jerusalem, first excavated in the 1920s. The word millo derives from the Hebrew word for fill and suggests the structure filled in a gap in the Old City wall. Some scholars say it was connected to David’s royal palace. (Yoav Dothan)
