As they went away, Jesus began to speak to the crowds about John: “What did you go out into the wilderness to look at? A reed shaken by the wind? What then did you go out to see? ‘See, I am sending my messenger ahead of you,

I believe in God,

The Hicksite Friends Meeting House in Richmond, Indiana was built in 1865 by followers of Elias Hicks, a Quaker who taught that obedience to the Inner Light is the sole rule of faith and the foundation of Christianity; his teachings resulted in a major schism among the Friends.
