Broken Glacier Greenland 9.14.20 Euro Space Agcy

Another glacier has broken off Greenland, and it’s a big one, 42 square miles (110 sq km). Scientists point out that a chunk this big would have been called “extreme” 30 years ago, but now we take it for granted. Meanwhile the current U.S. administration has appointed a climate change-denying professor as the new head of NOAA. (European Space Agency)
