Tijuana Border Crossing.Elliot Spagat AP

Asylum-seekers waiting for news at the U.S.-Mexico border crossing in Tijuana, as the White House announced it has rescinded the “Remain in Mexico” policy and admitted the first of up to 25,000 seekers who already have active asylum caes in U.S. courts. The first admissions are being housed at a hotel in San Diego while in quarantine, then will be released to seek their destinations around the U.S. where family members or sponsors agree to receive them.
