NASA’s Mars explorer, named Perseverance, landed on the red planet 18 February, with touchdown live on U.S. television. The rover landed near an ancient river delta and will look for signs that life may have existed there. The rover is equipped with 25 cameras and two microphones, and NASA scientists say they are getting “awesome pictures.” (NASA)
