The remains of a sailor lost in the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor were to be buried Monday at Arlington National Cemetery with 15 family members in attendance. Electrician’s Mate 3rd Class Roman W. Sadlowski, of Pittsfield, Massachusetts, was aboard the USS Oklahoma when it was sunk on December 7, 1941. His remains were identified in 2018, but his burial was delayed by the pandemic; now he and his family can be at rest. (Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency)
