Cyril Ramaphosa, president of South Africa, is welcomed by King Charles and Queen Camilla on the first state visit of the new king’s reign. The schedule promotes a $6.4 billion British investment in South African infrastructure, green technology and electric car manufacturing, technical and vocation education, Ramaphosa’s address before joint session of Parliament, a state banquet and a healthy dose of pomp and circumstance.
