Ukraine and Russia renewed their wartime grain deal for 60 days Saturday, just as it was about to expire. The extension was announced by the UN and Turkish President Recep Erdogan, who controls the sea lanes. Both Russia and Ukraine are major exporters of wheat, barley and sunflower oil, and need money to buy more weapons. But the food is life or death in Kenya, Ethiopia, Somalia, and 42 other nations.
